Best French toast we’ve ever had. Amazing atmosphere incredibly family friendly and the owner is a joy! I felt like I was eating with family and friends in the comfort of a welcoming and warm home. We will definitely come back, perfect pitstop when heading to IKEA!
If I could give this place 10 stars I would. EVERYTHING was phenomenal!! The food was some of the best I have ever had. The fried chicken was hot, crispy, juicy and tender. Potatoes were cooked perfectly. My husband had the waffles and they were perfection. Crispy on the outside, soft and fluffy inside. The service was amazing as well, it was incredibly busy but we never felt rushed and everyone was smiling and happy. The food came out quickly and the prices are super reasonable. I cannot express enough how great this place is. I’m already looking forward to the next time I can come back
This place has a great vibe! The setup is simple and inviting, the breakfast food is delicious, and the staff is genuinely friendly and attentive. The only downside was the parking situation, which is honestly beyond the restaurant’s control. We’ve been wanting to try this place since it opened, and on a Sunday morning, all the stars finally aligned. We pulled in just as someone was leaving, so parking was no problem. There was no wait, and we were seated immediately. Our server, Nicholas, was a cheerful, respectful young man who provided excellent service and checked on us regularly without being intrusive. The food was fantastic. I ordered the Meat lovers Omelet, and my husband had the Breakfast Sandwich. The portions were generous—I ended up taking almost an entire box of leftovers home. Overall, this is a great choice if you’re looking for a locally owned breakfast spot instead of a chain restaurant. We’ll definitely be back!
RefreshYoLife recently hosted our Galentine gathering at The Brunch Spot, and it was absolutely amazing from beginning to end. The atmosphere was warm, inviting, and perfect for meaningful connection. The staff was attentive, kind, and made sure everything flowed smoothly for our guests. Every plate that came out was beautifully presented and full of flavor. You can truly taste the care in the food. Our ladies felt celebrated, comfortable, and well taken care of, which made the entire experience even more special. Hosting an event requires the right environment, and The Brunch Spot delivered excellence. If you are looking for a place to host a brunch, celebration, or gathering with heart, this is it. We will definitely be back.
Since moving to Texas, and specifically this area, I really hadn’t found any worthwhile breakfast/brunch places….until now. The Brunch Spot had been on my bookmarked breakfast places to try. As luck would have it, we were in the area, and just happened to be hungry. It was a Monday morning, around 10ish, and this place was poppin’! Lol, like do people not have jobs?! But I digress…back to the review. We were greeted by Jocelyn, who also ended up being our server as well. She was AMAZING! We perused the menu and everything sounded delicious. I decided on the Waffle Plate, because a Belgian waffle sounded really good. My better half ordered the French Toast Plate. The food came out pretty quick. However, my order was missing the waffle, which I mentioned. Apparently, there was a misunderstanding in what I ordered. Jocelyn took care of it immediately, and apologized and assured me that she would bring out the waffle at no charge. That’s great customer service! It ended up being a happy accident though, because I loved what I received. I guess it was a sausage platter, which had my favorite type of link sausage. So, it’s definitely going to be my go-to order every time! We are definitely coming back, on a regular basis. The French Toast Plate was also very good. As was the Kool-Aid, and the Caramel Iced Coffee. If there is ever Kool-Aid on a menu, I’m always going to order it! And this Kool-Aid did not miss. It was diabebes sweet, just the way I like it! Overall, it’s a really cool place, and my favorite breakfast/brunch spot now. It’s nice and tidy inside, and the staff is welcoming and friendly. Lol, my only gripe was the parking. But, I would gladly park somewhere else and walk here, because it’s definitely worth it.
If you are looking for good food , good service and vibes then this is your spot . Jocelyn was amazing and took great care! Steak was cooked perfect and that buttery biscuit was 10/10. Better to get there early and ask for Jocelyn trust me you won’t regret it !
“Serving up sunshine” is an understatement! The Eggs Benedict was the perfect amount of savory drenched hollandaise, the fries/potatoes were seasoned to a perfection! The Brunch Burger was a delight with every bite melting in your mouth, filling and satisfactory in every way! Husband and I had a waffle as a little treat after our main meal and was by far the most perfect golden crisp delicacy! Don’t make The Brunch Spot an option, make it your choice right now as you’re reading this!!!! Nicolas was our fantastic server, his hospitality and attentiveness is amazing!!
This place has been one of the best I’ve been to in San Antonio for breakfast/brunch meals! Seasoned perfectly, great portion sizes and everything. The shrimp and grits were amazing as well as the catfish! They’re a MUST TRY! Also our waitress, Jocelyn was by far very sociable, nice, and made the experience very pleasing!
The Brunch Spot is a great little place. It is family run and everyone was very pleasant and helpful. I haven't seen good customer service like that in a long time. We had mimosas and my friend had the steak & eggs with grits and I had the french toast plate. It was all delicious! I believe our servers name was Nicky, he was very attentive and sweet.
I recommend - Here's why! Absolutely delicious food and huge portions. While you might be vibing to the music, don't forget to eat your yummy plate while it's hot. The Shrimp and grits plate was made extra tasty by adding cheese so don't forget that. The Steak and Eggs was nicely complimented by steak sauce but flavor packed in no matter what. Go early as parking and restaurant space is a bit tight, but affordable delicious brunch is soon yours if you check them out. We plan to go again! :)
